Antony-Mary was born of a noble family in Cremona. Two characteristics made him a leader among his school fellows —keenness of intellect and integrity of life. The degree of doctor of medicine was conferred on him by the University of Padua. He founded the Order of Clerks Regular.
Let no man despise thy youth: but be thou an example of the faithful, in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in chastity. Till I come, attend unto reading, to exhortation, and to doctrine. ~Epistle
It is a great thing to be even the least in heaven, where all are great; because all shall be called, and shall be, the children of God. ~Imitation: Book III.
Ideal~ St. Paul was the model and ideal of St. Antony-Mary. Like St. Paul, he strove to measure up to the full stature of Christ. He was, like the great Apostle, filled with Christ’s super-eminent knowledge.
Today~ We grow like those whom we love and admire. If you want to know whether you are aiming high or low, notice the type of man or woman whom you would like to resemble. That is your answer.
Slogan~ Aim high.
